There are many, with bloody, calloused hands,
And there are others, who go against Gods’ commands.
Oh Father, come and save us from above.
Dear God, come save us with your love.
There are earthquakes destroying another’s land;
A one time paradise, now tattered by blowing sand.
Oh Father, send us your white winged doves.
Dear God, come save us with your blood.
A child suffers, at the hands of his father.
A mother starves her young and helpless daughter.
Oh Father, come enslave us with your love.
Dear God, come save us with your love.
There is sickness, where we need life.
We need peace, where there is strife.
Oh Father, come and save us; for you are loved.
Dear God, come save us from this flood.
We are lost and struggling to be found.
We have fallen and cannot get off the ground
Oh Father, send down Angels with their love.
Dear God, we are desperate for your love.

Michael,
This is so beautiful! I often think that without God, there would be no reason at all to live. Not that there aren't many things to live for, but without him, there would be nothing else. The world is such a tattered place, and I do know that only the almighty can save us. Thanks for posting this beautiful reminder.
God Bless,
Ja
