Armodafinil (Nuvigil) is a different version of Provigil and appears to work better than the previous drug. Cephalon is the maker of this drug. Armodafinil is the active (−)-(R)-enantiomer of Provigil. I do not know if or when it will be given to patients, but it is a positive step in the right direction. You can find the website here:
